Sunshine on a Cloudy Day

On a cloudy and rainy Saturday, 60 volunteers huddled together at the Storefront to make over 150 Sunny Grams and 30 Surgi Dolls to benefit the children's organization, Project Sunshine! A big thank you to everyone who came out to help, donate suplies, and make creative greeting cards and huggable dolls for children in hospitals. Cocoa and Cards for a Cause!

Join us to sip on FREE hot cocoa while making greeting cards and surgical dolls for children in hospitals. Bring a smile to one child with just a few minutes. Stay to make one doll or a couple of cards. No experience necessary. All supplies will be provided. Just bring yourself and invite a friend! Children and families are welcome!

The event is on Saturday, November 14th at the Storefront located at 6921 Fourth Avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Drop in anytime from 12 - 4 PM!

Starting off the School Year Right!

150 children, 70 parents, and 20 volunteers came out for our Back to School Drive! Children received notebooks, pens, crayons, book, pens, bookmarks and more! Afterwards, children went inside the Storefront to make origami and bead necklaces while the parents had a chance to sit and chat. Thank you to all our hardworking volunteers and our generous supporters for the donations!
